Kirtanmusic is a traditional Sanskrit call-and-response chanting performed in India’s devotional traditions.  You may think of it as a musical prayer of sorts.  The rhythmic and experiential quality of this call and response chanting literally will soothe your soul, help you ground and center yourself, and can lead to a profound state of meditation.

Heavily influenced by my 8 trips to India, my style of live Kirtan music embraces the traditions I learned while at the same time allowing me to express myself.  It is more accurate to describe a live Kirtan event as an experience rather than a performance because Kirtan depends upon the particpation of the audience.
